I was so intrigued and inspired by the Mexican foliage. It was lush, exotic, and completely refreshing. Stepping outside of our door we were immediately staring into a rich green jungle. I wanted to echo this natural environment with a neutral outfit. Right before our trip I snagged these great linen shorts. The material is breathable and ideal in humidity. An open-back shirt offered the perfect complement of an airy feel. In keeping with the foliage tone, a gold leaf necklace finished the look.
It was such a joy to practice those years of (now rusty) Spanish, explore the local culture, and chow down on unbelievably delicious cuisine!
