Even though the first day of December was a rather balmy sixty degrees, this week got me more in the holiday spirit than ever. My sister and I have the yearly tradition of picking out two Christmas trees for our parents’ house; so that mission was successfully accomplished. And this more temperate weather has given me a chance to blend my seasonal wardrobes instead of having to jump right into bundling mode. Layering a camel winter coat with distressed skinny jeans and a cable knit sweater offers a balance of cozy without going overboard. And topping it all off with a grey fedora feels both playful yet sophisticated while still offering functionality.
