There is an episode of Friends where Monica breaks the news to longtime roommate Rachel that they are no longer going to live together (Chandler is moving in instead). Through tears, Rachel laments, “It’s like the end of an era!” I feel like Rachel today. This week I had to say farewell to a friend who’s moving. Spanning more than half of my life, our friendship has witnessed a lot of change over the years. It’s definitely a bittersweet goodbye knowing the next chapter of their life will be wonderful but they leave behind a giant hole.
In light of this nugget of sadness, E & I took a day to revisit one of our favorite New England spots. The weather has been picturesque and nothing is better than sitting oceanside with an iced latte. It was all about an effortless style that kept out the wind but made a statement with colors. I have been completely drawn to pale pinks lately and this button-down is the ideal shade.
