I have a lot of dark pieces in my wardrobe that I don’t like to totally give up for spring. With blacks, navies, or dark greens, I try to find ways to make them relevant to the season and not overpowering. This bow tie top is contrasted well with a stark white skirt and silver details. The striped purse picks up on lighter details while the dark heels match the navy hue. If you don’t have enough in your wardrobe (who would?) to completely ditch warmer tones for spring colors, just work to find a balance of lights and dark. Mix patterns and textures for an updated look using familiar pieces!
