chunky plaid layers

In a previous job, I used to institute a game of “Fun Fact Friday.” Whether personal or pulled from a trivia website, you had to share one interesting tidbit that others wouldn’t know. So here it is: first of all (personal note), I’ve had a lifelong and very real fascination with sumo wrestlers. Second of all (trivia note), in Japan it’s considered good luck to have a sumo wrestler make your baby cry. So while my weekend doesn’t have a baby or a sumo wrestler lined up, it does hold our very first Cookie Swap. And nothing could be better for festive party prep than a cozy outfit of layered plaid, cashmere, and chunky knits.
