Four years ago, while visiting my sister in her NYC shoebox apartment, I first visited Babycakes. The smells that waft through the doorway are only an inkling of their amazing treats. Rows upon rows of colorful cupcakes and baked goods make a feast for your eyes and a seriously hard decision for your belly. Well, one year later I got their cookbook as a present and have been enamored since.
As if providing the secret to their goldmine wasn’t enough, Babycakes has since created a line of at-home bakers (see their whoopee maker here). My newest investment from them–the donut maker–puffed these perfect pumpkin spice mini donuts. I pulled this recipe from Babycakes and the result was scrumptious. And for your conscience? These babies are baked so forget the fried guilt.
