Last week I took a quick mother + daughters trip out to Detroit to visit my older sister. In packing, I was all worried about what to take and how to pack up winter boots. But the irony turned out to be we missed a huge bout of bad snow weather back east and had zero midwest troubles. So coming back to the storms of these past few days meant making time for outdoor play. And one of my forever favorite layering pieces is this aztec print sweater. It’s been in my closet for years but the thick material and funky pattern never wears out. So doubling up on denim and topping off the look with retro flair sunglasses is how I’m kicking off this week.
