We’ve got an early flight back to reality this morning and it’s time to hit the ground running on our busy week. But I can’t imagine feeling more refreshed after a weekend with family. Recently I’ve been craving ways to turn my mind from endless to-do lists and embrace some down time. So that explains my reading the new Harry Potter book in under a day, right? Anyhow, another way E and I have been making those efforts is by scheduling work-free-you-and-me times. These past few weekends, even if just for an hour, we stop ‘talking shop’ and simply enjoy the other person’s company. Last Saturday that looked like us discovering a new antique store just down the street and catching an early morning walk on the ocean. I slipped into this paneled duster coat for the cooler temps and added complementing sneakers for the walking portion. The look, while being casual, still seemed city chic in my book.
