Sometimes I love a wardrobe piece so much that I can’t relegate it to just one season. My Sam Edelman boots are a year-round must. Their ankle height, mixed prints, and gold detailing are the perfect combination of fun and functional. As E and I headed out the other night for errands (hence why I’m carting around my computer case), I grabbed them as a first choice to fit my mood.
The tougher look of studded booties in summer needed to be toned down just a bit. A flowing ruffled top gave the right contrast to create a softer look and balance out the statement. Feminine jewelry and a coral lip color further enhanced the girly vibe and took the edge off of the more masculine shoe choice.
