Today was a bit of a fashion play date. I must give credit where credit is due: growing up, my older sister played a large role in teaching me how to dress. She was never shy of telling me what did, and more importantly did not, look good. I decided to take her Christian Louboutin heels for a stroll today. The elegantly sexy red heel is unmistakable; their sleek profile is perfect for a day at the office or a night on the town. All of these conclusions, I’ve known for a while; however, I haven’t made the investment myself and wanted to experience their feel. For a day of work in the city, the heels matched perfectly with my simple J.Crew ponte dress and Gap blazer. Keeping the outfit light and delicate, the ASOS feathered clutch added a perfect complement for the otherwise straight lines of my ensemble. The outcome of this little adventure? I see these brilliant pumps having a future place in my wardrobe.
